What is BusWatch?
RTA’s BusWatch is a free service on your smartphone, tablet or computer that by using a Global Positioning System, pinpoints the location and estimated arrival time of your bus. BusWatch shows you in real-time where buses are on a map and estimates when they will arrive at your stop. You can also subscribe to receive information on the routes you use.
RTA also offers a smartphone app to keep you in the know. The app includes real-time bus arrival information in addition to a trip planner, schedule information, fares, rider alerts and contact information.
How do I use BusWatch?
To use BusWatch, choose your route, your direction of travel and your current bus stop. BusWatch will show arrival times for buses that will be arriving at your selected stop in the next 60 minutes. If a bus is predicted to arrive at the stop in less than 2 minutes, the estimated arrival time will be replaced with APPROACHING.If a bus is delayed due to an unusual event (such as a detour), the estimated arrival may remain the same or may even increase. In the event that a bus stops transmitting data to our servers, it will not appear on this website even though it is in service.

A note about delays...
Please note that if a bus goes off its regular route due to a detour, our system will no longer be able to predict accurate arrival times and may not be able to show the bus on our map. Please check for rider alerts.If a bus is unable to move for several minutes due to an unusual event (such as a traffic accident), arrival estimates will switch from counting down minutes to a "DELAYED" notification. Once the bus begins to move again, estimated arrival times will appear again. In the event that a bus stops transmitting data to our servers, it will not appear on this website even though it is in service.
